From our doorstep, numerous cycle paths lead through the rolling hills of the Salzburg region, past lakes, or right into the city of Salzburg.

Anyone who enjoys stopping along the way should not miss Hellbrunn Palace with its famous trick fountains. The expansive park invites you to linger and relax.

Equally idyllic is a detour to Waldbad Anif – a refreshing natural swimming lake, perfect for a short break.

Another highlight is the historic Almkanal, winding picturesquely through the landscape around Salzburg. From Anif, you can enjoy a relaxed ride all the way into the Old Town – combining nature and city pleasures in one tour.

Stage 16 of the Mozart Cycle Path passes directly through Anif, blending cycling pleasure with cultural richness. A true highlight is the ride into the festival city of Salzburg – along the River Salzach, with views of the Old Town and Hohensalzburg Fortress.

A particularly charming circular route is Anif – Salzburg – Hellbrunn – Anif (approx. 15 km). This picturesque trail leads through avenues, fields, and parks, perfectly combining culture and nature – and is also ideal for families with children.

A true classic is the Gaisberg climb – a popular challenge for all who enjoy riding uphill.
Whether on a road bike or an e-bike, once at the top you’ll be rewarded with magnificent panoramic views over Salzburg and the surrounding mountains.

No less impressive is the Untersberg loop (approx. 57 km): fantastic views, charming inns, and, if desired, a ride on the Untersberg cable car make this tour a real highlight.​

In addition, sections of the Tauern Cycle Path invite you to enjoy extended day tours – with views of majestic mountains, sparkling rivers, and impressive castles along the way.
